Ethel Voronkova, a Stylized Abstract Artist originally from the Philippines, is currently based in Ontario, Canada. Her artistic journey began when she and her family relocated to Canada when she was just nine years old. She pursued her passion for Fine Art by enrolling in Centennial College, where she honed her skills.
In 2017, Ethel took the bold step of dedicating herself to her art full-time. Since then, her artistic endeavors have been showcased in both Group and Solo exhibitions. Notable venues that have featured her work include Arta Gallery, Hamilton City Hall (for a solo exhibition), the annual juried show at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, The Orillia Museum of Art and History, and the Annual One-Of-A-Kind Show in Toronto. She has also gained recognition from the Art Gallery of Hamilton, which represents her.
Ethel's captivating paintings have found their way into private collections across Canada and the United States. Presently, she resides in Brantford, Ontario, where she also maintains her studio, continuing to create and inspire through her unique artistic expression.

Why is art important to you?
Art has been my safe place for a very long time. It has helped me get through a lot of difficult moments in my life and it has also led me to the greatest people and things in my life. Art and making Art has always felt really natural to me and It's been a part of me for as long as I can remember.
